ROBERT D. McTAGGART
Lead Counsel

Board Certified, Commercial Real Estate Law, Texas Board of Legal Specialization

Mr. McTaggart practices in the areas of real estate law and business law.  Mr. McTaggart received his bachelor’s degree, with distinction, from the University of Michigan in 1975, and his law degree from Vanderbilt University in 1979.  He was the 1999 Chairman of the Real Property Section of the Dallas Bar Association. He is also a member of the Dallas Area Real Estate Lawyers. Mr. McTaggart has served as an adjunct professor teaching courses on the law of real property and real estate transactions.

Mr. McTaggart has earned a rating of “Av”, the highest possible rating given to attorneys and law firms by Martindale-Hubbell, the publisher of the most widely recognized law firm directory in the United States.

Mr. McTaggart is a frequent speaker and is the author of various articles including:

KEVIN A. DYM
Senior Associate Attorney

Mr. Dym practices in the areas of real estate law and business law. Mr. Dym earned his bachelor’s degree in Philosophy with a second major in Finance from Washington University in St. Louis in 2000.  He earned his law degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2003. Mr. Dym was admitted to the Texas bar in 2003, and admitted to practice in the United States District Court’s Northern District in 2009.

Mr. Dym’s professional affiliations include membership in the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association (including membership in the Real Property and Bankruptcy Law Sections), the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers (DAYL), the Dallas Area Real Estate Lawyers Discussion Group, and The Real Estate Council.  Mr. Dym is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, and he was a member of the 2009 DAYL Leadership Class. 

Mr. Dym’s civic affiliations include current membership on the board of directors of Shared Housing Center, Inc., an organization that promotes and provides affordable housing options to the homeless, elderly, single parent families and persons with special needs.  He is also a former Director and fundraiser of BVB Dallas, an organization that supports the local and national chapters of the Alzheimer’s Association and provides funding for researching brain health.  Mr. Dym is  a member of the Downtown [Dallas] Resident Council Committee, the Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance, and he has also provided free legal services for several clients of the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program.
